Course objectives
Student: - Will know the history and development of the emergency medical services field and Emergency Medicine and medicícna disasters.
- Understand the position and role of emergency medical services in the integrated rescue system, with the organization of the provision of pre-hospital, with care provided by the exit groups.
- Describes the development of early hospital emergency care, urgent role of income in the Czech Republic.
- Is able to compare the different organizational schema emergency systems at home and abroad.
Syllabus
  • 1) The first contact with the patient,
  • 2) basic and advanced ways to ensure basic vital functions
  • 3) differential diagnostic based on primary and secondary examinations,
  • 4) ensuring patient and targeted by working diagnosis
  • 5) rescue resources and their use,
  • 6) The transport of the patient,
  • 7) The operation of all instrumentation and communications emergency vehicles.

Teaching methods
Practical training procedures, techniques and skills used in handling all types of emergencies , or life conditions, but also other serious conditions in the PNP and NNP .
Solving model situations using and verifying the correct application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Assessment methods
Ongoing written tests and practical verification of knowledge and skills will accede to the condition oral exams. Details will be communicated to the teacher at the beginning of the semester teaching in.
