Course objectives
The subject is understood as theoretical-practical. The content of the subject is part of a complex of subjects from the field of teaching professional skills. It summarizes the most important information and recommendations for research in the field of nursing and rescue. It provides methodological guidance for the implementation of the individual stages of the research process. It deals with the practice of critical - scientific thinking. It contains instructions for using and applying EBM. The goal the subject is to teach students the basics of objective evaluation of the published data as the basis for creating the right design of a research study.
Learning outcomes
Student will:
- Possibility to practice the stages of the research process.
- Ability to plan and implement a qualitative and quantitative survey method.
- Ready to deliver the results presentation.
- Evaluate objectively published data.
Syllabus
  • Data management, preparation and import;
  • Data visualization;
  • Descriptive statistics;
  • Statistical tests for continuous data, statistical tests for categorical data;
  • Preparation of a questionnaire survey and a controlled interview.
  • EBM practice training, evaluation of selected published study.
