Course objectives
The aim of Pediatrics is to recognize growth and development in age specific cathegories regardless to newborn and infant age. The main sign of Pediatrics is preventive intention of child development in physical,psychical and social parts of health. This is important for health in adulthood. Pediatrics is interested in diagnosing, treatment and prevention in diseases in childhood. There are specific differences in childhood, different diagnostic tools and special care.

  • The field of pediatrics.Child care management.Care of sick children.Preventive measures in pediatrics.ASge categories,growht and development during childhood.Social issues in pediatrics.New-born infant,problems with adaptation. Nutrition during childhood.Feeding of infants- breast feeding,formula feeding, nutritional disorders.Inborn errors of metabolism.Disease of GIT,respiratory tract,kidneys.Disease of the nervous system.Convulsive disorders. Emotional and behavioural disorders. Disease of skin.
