Course objectives
The aim of the tuition is working knowledge of the Czech language on the B1 level of the "Common European Framework of Reference" (CEFR)(Independent User) checked by an examination.
Syllabus
  • Czech for Foreigners. Syllabus.
  • 1st - 3rd weeks: Revision Lesson. Presenting Complaints. History of Cardiovascular Diseases.Grammar: Imperative.
  • 4th - 5th weeks: Diseases of the Respiratory Tract. Grammar:Conditional Sentences. Past Tense.
  • 6th - 7th weeks: Renal Diseases. Diseases of Alimentary Tract.
  • 8th - 9th weeks: Haematological History. Orthopedic, Traumatological Anamnesis.
  • 10th week: Gynaecological and Obstetrical History. Czech Medical Abbreviations.
  • 11th - 12th weeks: At the Ophthalmologist's. ENT Examination. Work with Case Histories.
  • 13th to 14th weeks: At the Dentist's. Discharge Report.
  • 15th week: Revision Lesson. Final test.

  • The first two titles are basic, the third is supplementary.
Assessment methods
The tuition is realised in the form of practical courses. The students' presence in these courses is required; two absences are tolerated. The tuition is finished by an end-of-term examination (ETE) consisting of a written and an oral part. Passing the examination is conditioned by proper presence and active participation in practical courses.
