Course objectives
After the completion of practicals the student will be able to take a complete history of patients perform a general objektive physical examination of patients perform and evaluace ecg curve and dicern basic patohological ecg findings describe physiological findings on X ray picture known laboratory and othe diagnostic tests in individual diseases

  • Laboratoty diagnostic test and clinical examination of the cardiovascular diseases.
  • 2nd week
  • Laboratoty diagnostic test and clinical examination of the respiratory diaseases.
  • 3rd week.
  • Laboratoty diagnostic test and clinical examination of the kidney and urinary tract diseases
  • 4th week
  • Laboratoty diagnostic test and clinical examination of the gastrointestinal tract diseases
  • 5th week
  • Laboratoty diagnostic test and clinical examination of the pancreatic, liver and biliary tract diseases.

Assessment methods
The practicals are taking place in various clinical departments, the attendance is obligatory. In first 5 weeks are lectures, since 6th week are lessons in clinical departments. The education is aimed at practical exercise of skills at patient s bed. The konowledge of theory acquired dutiny the lectures in first 5 weeks are requested. Audiovisual techniques are used for easier orientation in more complicated diagnostic situations.The credit is given for an aktive approach to the discussed probléme and on the basis of proved ability to examene the patient. The final evaluation has 2 parts: oral and practical
