Course objectives
This subject is dedicated to the study of organ systems and topographic anatomy of the extremities. Students learn macroscopic description of particular organs and thier vascular supply on models and fixed preparates. They become acquainted with contrast X-ray pictures used for particular organ evaluation. They take up with topography of the upper and lower extremity by demonstration onto cadavers.

Assessment methods
Tutorial methods: practical study on the models, fixed preparations and cadavers. Description of contrast X-ray pictures. A precondition for obtaining the course-unit credit is 95% attendance at the seminars (1 non-attendance tolerated) and demonstration of the basic knowledge of the semester schoolwork in the form of 3 tests, each containing 10 questions (each correctly answered question is evaluated by 1 point). A minimum of 6 out of 10 possible points in each test is required for fulfillment. For unsuccessful students a resit date will be offered; for its fulfillment it is necessary to obtain a minimum of 6 out of 10 possible points in the test.
