Course objectives
The aim of the histology course is obtaining foundations of microscopic identification of human tissues in histological slides. At the end of this course, students should be able to understand the principles of tissue processing for the light microscopy and to describe the structure and ultrastructure of the animal cells as well as key microscopic characteristics of various tissue types. Simultaneously they should be able correctly to use a light microscope and to interpret microscopic entities and findings.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, students should be able to understand the principles of tissue processing for light microscopy and to describe the structure and ultrastructure of the animal cells as well as key microscopic characteristics of various tissue types. Simultaneously they should be able correctly to use a light microscope and to interpret microscopic entities and findings.
