Course objectives
Students observe English lessons taught by experienced in-service teachers in primary, secondary and language schools. Main objectives can be summarized as follows: being able to analyze what happens in a lesson and compare observed practice with theory studied and discussed in didactic seminars.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to:
- study and understand the theory of the observed phenomenon
- critically observe and describe a certain aspect of the observed teacher's work
- analyze the observed phenomenon
- reflect and compares the observations with his/her own opinions, experience and beliefs.

Teaching methods
Observations in schools, following observation tasks in moodlinka where they are described and the structure of observation is given.
Assessment methods
Students write reports from the observations, which are assessed by the teacher and if necessary further discussed with the teacher and evaluated.
