Course objectives
Existencial forms of language. Structural and non-structural language formations. Causes for forming of dialects. Diachronic transformations of Czec into dialects. Criteria of classification. Geographical dialects of Czech, characteristic of these. Analyses of dialect texts. Excursion with recording the live speech. Methods of treating dialects, mainly dictionary and atlas. Dialect and the literary speech.
