Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with the content of language teaching. In the seminars, students have to win the ability to prepare tasks for the lesson (including motivation and feedback), they are acquainted with appropriate methods and forms of work (with regard to different types of lessons and pupils with special educational needs - learning disabilities, socially disadvantaged and pupils extraordinarily talented), they win the ability to prepare additional material: texts for practising individual phenomena, suitable illustrative examples for the interpretation of the substance, teaching materials for pupils with specific educational needs and extremely talented pupils. The seminary course also includes a comparison of several types of textbooks and a discussion of their concepts.
Learning outcomes
The student has to be acquainted with the content of language teaching. He acquires the ability to prepare tasks for the lesson (including motivation and feedback), to choose suitable methods and forms of work (i. e. different types of lessons), to prepare additional material: texts for practising individual phenomena, suitable illustrative examples for interpretation substances. Based on the knowledge and skills of the subjects of teaching propaedeutics, special and inclusive pedagogy, the basics of pedagogical diagnostics, compulsory education of talented pupils, the student acquires the skill to creatively work out teaching materials, that is suitable for pupils with special educational needs, and to use them in teaching e.g. in group work and he is able to create materials for talented children.

Teaching methods
Methods based on thought operations (analysis, synthesis, etc.), methods of critical thinking, theoretical training and students’ teaching. Experience method.
Assessment methods
The course is concluded with a credit, the student's own teaching (in the group) in the seminar and the actual preparation for one lesson (written form only, individually, so-called odevzdávárna) is required.
