Course objectives
The aim of the course is to increase knowledge of the physics in the environmental context and to develop the skills to perform practical measurements and experiments at the university level. Emphasis is placed on the application of scientific research methods from designing physics experiments to its implementation, evaluation and presentation of results. Student performs selected practical measurements alone or in a team. The course contains practical tasks emphasizing on the relation of the topic and practice, nature, technical applications etc.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student should know and know:  Theoretical foundations of physical phenomena and practical measurements.  Safety rules in the laboratory.  The student is able to perform practical measurements, process data, evaluate and evaluate individually or in a team interpret the results.
