Cílem evropské strategie výzkumu vztahu prostředí a zdraví je snížit zátěž populace škodlivými faktory prostředí a redukovat rizika se zvláštním zřetelem na vnímavou dětskou populaci. Předmět je věnován fyzikálně-technickým parametrům vnitřního prostředí školních budov.

Course objectives
School Hygiene Environment presents a set of limits of basic factors characterizing the well-being and comfort of pupils and teachers in teaching.
The aim of the course is to gain basic knowledge about the problems of hygiene and quality of the school environment. This is to ensure that the student was able to objectively assess the fundamental microclimatic, acoustic, lighting factors characterizing the school environment and their impact on the effectiveness of educational process. Subject allow the practical examples of how to determine the value of the parameters and how these factors to affect.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should know and be able to:
- Understand and explain basic concepts related to hygiene and health protection not only at work but also in everyday life
- Can use the information gathered for self-reflection on hygiene in human life
- can make reasoned decisions based on acquired knowledge or skills on hygienic habits
- Based on acquired knowledge, it will derive appropriate hygienic rules according to the situation

Thermal and light comfort 7. Noise. Classroom acoustics. 8. Influences of the environment on the perception and concentration of pupils 9. Assessment of the hygiene of the school environment in the selected object
