Course objectives
Knowledge: learning objectives, contents, methods, forms and tools, diagnostics and motivation in teaching, the role of the teacher in the classroom. Skills: basics of the choice of objectives and contents, application of learning technologies (methods, forms and means); application diagnostics and motivation. Attitudes: accept the importance of the principles and other rules of general didactics.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student will be able to: - Define the subject of interest of general didactics and its contribution to teachers in vocational education. - Characterize the teaching process and its important elements. - Describe the specifics of pedagogical communication. - Define teaching goals and content of teaching. Characterize current teaching documents. - Define teaching technology. Provide an overview of teaching methods, forms and tools in the teaching of vocational subjects. - Describe important aspects of pupil assessment in teaching. - Clarify the meaning and essence of teaching preparation. - Characterize the concepts of climate, atmosphere and teaching environment.

  • 1. Introduction - the role of general didactics in teacher training, school systems 2. The concepts of general didactics. 3. Didactic principles. 4. Education target (RVP) vocational training and work with them 5. Educational content of vocational training and didactic transformation. 6. Educational Technology vocational training - methods, forms and means of teaching (teaching MAŇÁKOVÁ scheme. 7. Terms of vocational education - class climate pupil's conception of curriculum, teacher's concept of teaching. 8. Encourage the pupil. 9. Diagnostics and Classification pupil. 10. Structure of personality and activities of teachers in vocational teaching, preparation, implementation and reflection. 11. Historical development of general didactics. 12. Current issues of vocational education.Quality in teaching, transdisciplinary didactics.
