Course objectives
The course focuses on social and cultural aspects of the target language and ways of developing intercultural competence. Attention is also focused on the different types of evaluation in the language class and the development of the ability to evaluate the pupils' communication skills.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student should be able to: distinguish the terms culture, civilization, cultural stereotypes and intercultural approach in language teaching. He should also be able to distinguish different types of evaluation and apply them in teaching.
