Course objectives
Students will get acquainted with the basic terminology of the field, current technical literature and magazines. An integral part is preparation for pedagogical practice, interconnection of theoretical knowledge with practical use in the teaching process. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to design and implement in practice various methodological procedures and activities in Russian language teaching at elementary schools.

  • 1.-2. Didactics of Russian - its subject, goals, tasks. Common European Framework of Reference. Framework educational program - foreign language. Second foreign language. Standards
  • 3.-4. Learning a foreign language. Interlingual influence. Transfer and interference.
  • 5.-6. Didactic resources in teaching Russian. Textbook files. Methodical magazines for teaching foreign languages.
  • 7.-8. Foreign language lessons. Classification, structure. Lessons phase.
  • 9.-10. Language resources in foreign language teaching.
  • 11.-12. Repetition. Discussion on the issue of the teaching profession.
