Course objectives
The aim is to develop students' own creative potential in order to be able to apply their skills and knowledge from the visual arts to didactic preparation and pedagogical practice. By form of art etudes in the area, we will develop students' creativity and self-reflection ability.
Learning outcomes
Students learn specific art practices reflected a basic knowledge of visual art terminology. After completing the subject, they will be able to use the expressive properties of art media in the area, control elementary artistic skills and actively use them in their own work.
Syllabus
  • Analysing of selected artworks. Practical artistic activity. Acquisition of terminology of the means of expression of painting: tempera, watercolor, gouache, dry pastel, oil paint. Experiments with various materials and instruments, exploration of the expressive properties of art means. Reflection - developing communication skills.
