Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to interpret short history of mathematics.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to idenify and summmary the important features of the principal periods of history of mathematics: Origin of mathematics. Mathematics in ancient Egypt and Babylonia. Mathematics in ancient Greece, the first crisis in history of mathematics. Mathematics in the Middle Ages. Origin and evolution of calculus, the second crisis. Mathematics in the 19th century. The third crisis in mathematics. Significant mathematicians.
