Course objectives
The aim is to obtain information about new teaching methods, alternative approaches, their theoretical and practical aspects. In addition there are also issues of testing and working with an error. Evaluation and self-assessment of students.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student is able to describe and evaluate the basic classical and alternative directions in foreign language teaching, providing corrective feedback in the teaching of the Russian language and adequately approach the reflection of teaching the Russian language.

  • 1. Development of didactic directions, methods and didactic procedures. 2. Activating teaching methods. 3. Corrective feedback, work with errors and evaluation in foreign language teaching. 4. Pupil and teacher self-assessment. 5. Mistakes of a beginning teacher. 6. Experience of own pedagogical practice.

Seminar presentations and group discussions.
Assessment methods
Oral examination. 2 questions linking theory and practice. Evaluate the content and linguistic correctness. Assessment of portfolio management. The score is a presentation of microteaching.
