Course objectives
The aim of this course is to acquire basic knowledge about creative drama as one of the arts subjects, which deals with personality and social learning and developing of theater skills. Students will become familiar with the content and methods of DV, which are intertwined knowledge and principles from the fields of dramatic arts, education and psychology. After completing the course, students will be able to: Define the terms of drama education, dramatic play, improvisation, role play ect. Apply dramatic games in practice. Presenting the selected publication of the drama. Citing professional literature in the drama. To discuss the status of drama in the Czech Republic. Interpret scientific literature on drama.
