Course objectives
The objectives of the course: (1) to introduce students to the basic logic of sociological research, and (2) to familiarize them with the basic rules of preparation and conducting of the research project, including the writing of the final report and presentation of results before expert audience. After finishing the course the student will be able to prepare their own research project, so that they can prepare and handle the topics of your own thesis. Also they will be able to evaluate critically the publicly available outputs of research, to assess their relevance and use them in own teaching practice.

Teaching methods
Seminar – 2 hours per week; ongoing work on the seminar assignment. Three seminars dedicated to the consultation of team projects.
Assessment methods
For receiving the credit it is necessary to draw up a joint team project and present its results in the seminar.
