• Lower Secondary School Teacher Training in Family Education and Health Education (programme PdF, B-SPE)

Course objectives

The subject aims at the basic knowledge from the field of family education and health education. Students are acquainted with general educational documents and conception of education in family education and health education and with realization of proclaimed requirements in educational institutions (PS, leisure time centres, etc.). The concept of the mentioned field of study, its philosophy, objectives and expected outputs are based on that basis. It is emphasized to create desirable attitude to the discipline and to educational activity of students.

Syllabus

• 1. Conception of family education in past and in present. 2. Standards of primary education, educational programmes, framework educational programmes for primary education. 3. Prediction of the disciplines Family Education and Health Education. 4. Analysis of educational objectives of family education and health education. 5. Educational process, organization of lessons of family education and health education in primary schools. 6. Programme Health 21. 7. Programmes for health support at schools. 8. Programme for health support as a part of school educational programme. 9. Inspection at primary schools – orientation on family education, health education, health support. 10. Analysis and reflexion of inspections at primary schools. 11. Inspection in educational centres – orientation on family education, health education, health support. 12. Analysis and reflexion of inspections in educational centres. 13. Evaluation of family education, health education and health support in educational institutions as a basis for subject curriculum. 14. Students’ own qualitative research done in chosen primary school. 15. Presentation of students’ research results.
