Course objectives

The subject pedagogic of free time deals with theoretical and practical questions of education in free time.

Syllabus

• Themes of courses, areas for examination: Human, society and education in free time. Conception and function of free time. Typology of free time activities in relationship with age, gender, education, locality and other variables. Free time activities, contentual fill, clasification, significance, methodes and forms of work. Educational system of E. T. Seton, R. S. S. Baden Powell, K. Hahn, A. B. Svojsík, Jaroslav Foglar. Origin and significance of organized activity in free time (YMCA, YWCA, Sokol, scouting, League of forest wisdom, Czech capming union etc.). Definition of games and their atributes, educational significance of games. Why the (children) humans play? Theories of games, their segmentation. History of games, metamorphosis of functions, motives, attitudes and aims of games in single develop ethapes of pedagogic. How to create and change the games. Games developing trains of thoughts, beforeall divergent and lateral thinking. Danger of gambling (socalled gamblers games), Socalled longterm games (e.g. all camp, allyear) when working with stable collectives. Associations and organisations caring for freetime education in the Czech Republic. Short historical view and evaluation of organized activity after the year 1948. Overview of associations and organisations caring for freetime education in chosen european countries. Legal rules, laws, ordinances and norms for work with children and youth and for organising various actions. K. Hahn and pedagogic of experience, conception of experience theraphy.

Typ výuky: přednáška. Ukončení: zkouška. Požadavek pro připuštění ke zkoušce: odevzdání seminární práce na téma
1. Návrh vlastní koncepce volnočasového zařízení, které není a chybí na trhu (poslání, organizace, zabezpečení, zajištění, personální obsazení, metody práce atd.).
2. Zpracování min. 3denního pobytu s dětmi (tábora) organizace, zabezpečení, program (stěžejní důraz na podrobné rozplánování pobytu, jednotlivých aktivit a her, metod práce s dětmi, celotáborové motivace; dále pedagogické, organizační a materiální zabezpečení). Rozsah sem. práce min. 4 strany A4, písmo 12.
