Course objectives
The goal of the subject is to have a deeper think on the mentality of a human in the social context. The critical assessment of a particular work on the social psychology is highly emphasized.
At the end of the course, the students will be able to understand and explain well known experiments of social psychology (Asch, Milgram, Zimrdo).
Students will be able to propose own experiments to explain the problem questions of social behaviour.
Based on the pieces of information gained, the students will be able to predict own behaviour in small and large social groups.
Syllabus
  • 1. Úvod. Vymezení sociální psychologie. Problémy sociální psychologie. Různé přístupy k sociální psychologii vč. evolucni psychologie az sociobiologie. Sociální kognice jako jedno z klíčových témat oboru.
  • 2. Teoretické základy sociální kognice. Teorie sociální kognice. Teorie sociální identity. Teorie sociálních reprezentací. Diskurzivní psychologie.
  • 3. Sociální percepce. Sociální kognice a sociální percepce. Teorie sociální identity a sociální percepce. Sociální reprezentace a sociální percepce. Diskurzivní psychologie a sociální percepce.
  • 4. Postoje. Teorie postojů. Postoje a teorie sociální kognice. Postoje a teorie sociální identity. Postoje a teorie sociálních reprezentací. Postoje a diskurzivní psychologie.
  • 5. Atibuční procesy. Atibuce a teorie sociální kognice. Atibuce a teorie sociální identity. Atibuce a teorie sociálních reprezentací. Atibuce a diskurzivní psychologie.
  • 6. Jáství a identita. Sociálně kognitivistické přístupy k jáství a identitě. Sociálně identitní přípstupy k jáství a identitě. Přístupy z pozic sociálních reprezentací k jáství a identitě. Diskurzivní přístupy k jáství a identitě.
  • 7. Předsudky a stereotypy v sociální percepci. Sociální identita a předsudky. Diskurzivní psychologie a předsudky.
  • 8. Ideologie. Sociální kognice a ideologie. Sociální identita a ideologie. Sociální reprezentace a ideologie. Diskurzivní psychologie a ideologie.
  • 9. Metodologie. Inividuální a sociální aspekty ve výzkumu. Úrovně analýzy. Dekriptivní a konstruktivistické přístupy. Experimenty v sociální psychologii. Intervence, dynamika a plánování. Sociální změna.
