Course objectives
Course Objectives: Educational Counseling in educational process of persons with behavioral disorders (life crisis, beginning after intervention, counseling as a field, principles, ethics; counseling interview, counseling process phases; comprehensive counseling system; current concept of approaches to counseling holistic approach; specificity of counseling of persons with behavioral disorders; school counseling, specialized counseling for a student, teachers, parents; personality of a counselor). Upon successful completion, students will be familiar with methods of consulting work methods of diagnosing behavioral problems. It can create diagnostic records. Will be able to work with   case, can design an individual plans, goals. Can evaluate promising aspects of advisory work   within behavioral disorders.

  • 1. Pedagogical counseling in education of individuals with emotional and behavioral disorders, comprehensive counseling system, 2. Methods of counseling work with individuals with emotional and behavioral disorders diagnostics and its methods, individual rehabilitation plan, case management and assessment 2. Specialized counseling in education of children with emotional and behavioral disorders individual and social context 3. Counseling for parents partnership 4. Counseling for teachers teaching context, support for student 5. Counseling for student differences within the developmental periods 6. Principles and rules of counseling, traditional concepts in counseling, current interpretation of counseling concepts 7. Assessment of pupil with behavior disorder within the educational process 8. Assessment methods validity 9. Individual plans for intervention, rehabilitation 10. Guiding and assessing assessment as feed-back 11. Professional counseling classroom teacher in the role of counselor 12. Counseling for inclusion
