Course objectives
The aim is to extend the competences of students for informed approaches to the education of children and pupils at risk/behavour difficulties/disorders at the school environment. Students will be guided to the application procedures for the promotion, strengthening and guiding of the target group of children in the educational process at the system level, at school and in the class. Students will learn how to assess the specific educational needs of the target groups of pupils, set the objectives of the intervention, apply the intervention agreement.

Syllabus
  • 1. Inclusion as the concept for education of children with Emotional and Behaviour disorders 2. The specific educational needs of the children with the PCH/personality/Developmental specifics as the basis of diagnosis 3. The educational needs of the target group as the source of the intervention work special educator. 4. Behaviour disorder as a dynamic phenomenon – vertical, horizontal level 5. Social exclusion and the risk for the development of the behavior. 6. The intervention in the classroom environment 7. System elements and processes for support of inclusive school within the target group; risk of exclusion from education. 8. Resilience - process and environment, coping strategies. 9. Legislation on the education issues of the target groups of pupils. 10. Project work 11. Residential care
