Course objectives
The main aim of this course is to have knowledge in the area of counselling provided to individuals with physical disability and special educational assessment of the aim group of pupils and multidisciplinary cooperation and counselling system. Students get the skills of intervention provided to individuals with physical disability.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge of counselling provided to individuals with physical disability - Knowledge to assess individuals with physical disability, ntervention and isupport towards individuals with physical disability.
Syllabus
  • Early intervention provided to children with cerebral palsy Cerebral palsy – classification Assessment of children with physical disability in pre school age, multidisciplinary cooperation Vojta´s method, Bobath concept Support of psychological and motor development of child with physical disability – positioning and special aids Multidisciplinary cooperation and cooperation with parents Assessment of fine motor development, writing skills of re school age children Assessment and intervention – sensual and motor skills¨ School mature and specifics of children with physical disability Counselling service Legislative platform Progressive illness and approach to children Approach to children with chronic illness Support provided to children with physical disability Team work – (team members – assistance, teacher, special teacher – their role in the process of education) Individual educational plan Vocational training and counselling, special support.
