Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as follows: Ear, Nose and Throat and Speech Therapy
Learning outcomes
• the student will acquire basic information on the issues of ENT and phoniatry;
• can apply the acquired knowledge in educating pupils with impaired communication ability and hearing impairment.
Syllabus
  • Anatomy of hearing device external, middle, inner ear, central part of auditory system, auditory path, development of hearing organ, anatomical notes on the airway; upper and lower respiratory tract. Nose, nasal sinuses, nasopharyngeal, larynx, bronchial, hepatic function, peripheral auditory analyzer, central auditory analyzer, bone and airway, hearing and age, hearing and speech, airways; physiological notes to the speech system, speech and speech language, speech development, hearing examination of children; toys, speech and tuning, early reeducation, audiology, audiogram, hearing device; hearing disorders, speech; causes of speechlessness and speech disorders, voice; voice disorders of organic and functional nature. Hrtan; disorders of laryngeal motality, laryngeal inflammation in children.
