Course objectives
Annotation: The subject dramatical education towards theatre shape is divided into two modules. The first of them is focused on searching of suitable literary or nonliterary model (theme) for work on theatre shape. The aim is to determine and to analyse criteria of this choise, verify demands laid both from the literary, dramatical and pedagogical view. At the end of the course, the students will be able to: Understand the criteria how to select the topic for dramatization; Analyse the literary work; Choose a suitable literary work considering the type of work, participants and focus group; Know the basic theatre terms; Apply the theory of theatre in their work during dramatization; Name the drama situation and build it up; Create own drama and interpretation concept; Ask critical questions when checking the quality of a final play – dramatization.

  • Syllabus: 1. Basic ideas of drama. 2. Basic literary ideas and terms. 3. Non kiterary sources of themes. 4. Criteria of choise of literary model. 5. The sources of thmes in realtionship to group, aims and qualities o theme. 6. Preparatory work with chosen theme – its analysis. 7. Planning of work with literary and nonliterary model. 8. Types of work. 9. Veryfying of themes included in model. 10. Dramaturgical – directional conception
