Course objectives
The basic line of studies represents complex system view on submitted theories wtih incomposing of cultural – social and natural factors. The aim of studies is to stress the significancy of multifactor view on social phenomeons for purpose of their desription, explanation and prediction in the frame of educational reality. At the end of the course, the students will be able to: - Define the basic terms. - Explain the basics and structure of covered social and pedagogical theories. - Explain and interpret the topical social and pedagogical difficulties. - Outline the possibilities to solve the topical issues based on the reading and own experience. - Evaluate the importance of the topics covered for the theory and practice. - Explain and formulate the positions and values in the framework of the topics covered.

  • 1. The suggestion of structure of social pedagogy theories. 2. Problematics of social sciencies scientism. 3. The changes of praradigms in pedagogy and their influence on social theories. 4. Classical social theory. Behaviourism. Functionalism. Interactionism and interpretativism. West marxism. Psychoanalytic theory. Structuralism. Feminism. Postmodernistic theory. 5. Globalization. 6. Theory of media and theory of society. 7. Theory of determinants of educational processes.
