Course objectives
At the end of the course the students will be able: - to determine research their aims, research questions, hypotheses
- to chose appropriate research methods and to develop research instrument on the basis of focused research problem
- to transcribe and code data, to convert them into electronic form
- to analyze data (by the means of basic descriptive statistics)
- to express results in tabelar and graphic form and interpret them, to write a research report

  • 1. Educational methodology. Educational research. Types of research. Qualitative and quantitative methodology.
  • 2. Research aims, research questions, hypotheses.
  • 3. Variables, operationalization.
  • 4. Sampling, sample size.
  • 5. Questionnaire (construction, items, administration, data analysis).
  • 6. Test (construction, questions types, data analysis).
  • 7. Observation (types, obtaining of data, transcription, analysis).
  • 8. Interview (types, construction, obtaining of data, transcription, analysis)
  • 9. Content text analysis, secondary analysis of data, drawing.
  • 10. Experiment (types, effects, analysis).
  • 11. Validity and reliability.
  • 12. Data analysis, interpretation of findings, research report.
