Course objectives
This course introduces to students the method of playback theatre, which is one of the applied drama approaches, those are used also in educational and helping proffessions. The aim of the theatre is to open individual stories of audience and bring these stories through an improvisation of actors into community context and share it in interactive way in individual and social level. The course includes techniques of improvisation, work with stories and facilitation. Playback theatre is also introduced by theoretical and historical background. At the end of this course, the student will be able to: define the basic concepts of playback theatre, summarize approaches abroad, plan possibilities of use of playback theatre, knowledge of different forms, apply different forms in practice. Osnova: Vznik a historie playback divadla (PT), definování PT ve vztahu k dalším směrům aplikovaných divadel, zahraniční školy PT a další inspirace, možnosti využití PT, český kontext playback divadla, smysl rituálu v PT, průvodce v PT, červená nit příběhů, herci v PT, hudebník v PT, krátké formy PT, dlouhé formy PT, stavba PT herecké skupiny a představení PT, představení a zpětná vazba.
