Course objectives
At the end of the course the student will be able to: - distinguish the various types of Natural History teaching materials according to the Altmann´s classification - correctly formulate a learning task - assemble a worksheet for use in a particular lesson of Natural History - construct and evaluate the didactic test
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be able to: - distinguish and use different types of teaching aids; - apply the regional principle in teaching; - assess the professional relevance of books and texts for teaching; - design and use a diagnostic tool to determine the level of pupil knowledge and skills.
Syllabus
  • Syllabus of consultations (5 three-hour blocks): 1) Preparatory phase of teaching: typology of test items, principles of formulation of learning tasks, creation of learning tasks files 2) Preparatory phase of teaching: classical and activation methods of teaching Natural history 3) Preparatory phase of teaching: means of teaching Natural history and their classification 4) Implementation and management of Natural history teaching 5) Diagnostic phase of teaching: repetition and testing, didactic test, its construction and evaluation
