Course objectives
Materials and technologies metals focus on material engineering, engineering and metal processing. Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to get acquainted with the physical foundations of material science and the most used production technologies. Emphasis is placed on understanding the properties of the material with regard to its processing. Getting acquainted with metal production technologies reflects their use in practice and at elementary schools.

Seminars focuses on materials processing technologies, development of knowledge and skills in the field of working with measuring, drawing and control tools, machining, cutting, forming and bonding and surface treatment of metals and grinding and maintenance of tools. Exercises are also examples of work with electric hand tools and machines for machining metals.
