Course objectives
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquire basic skills and skills to successfully organize and manage the teaching process in technical subjects and subjects containing information technology themes. In particular, it involves the acquisition of knowledge and skills for the use and creation of various organizational forms, teaching methods and teaching resources. Further acquiring the knowledge and skills that teachers need to prepare professional materials, excursions and discussions for pupils of elementary schools.
Learning outcomes
Written preparation of a professional excursion to the company. Excursion within pedagogical practice at elementary school.
Syllabus
  • 1. Technology as a component of human culture, technical education as part of general education (The role of technology in the history of mankind, technical education and technical education, production, society and the environment, creating a relationship to technology in school practice). 2. Teaching unit as a basic teaching form (Structure, goal, organization, role of teacher and pupil, technical and material conditions). 3. Preparation and realization of the teaching process, pedagogical practice of students (In-patient, theoretical and practical teacher training on the teaching units, training outputs). 4. Technology of teaching technical subjects at elementary school - theory of teaching, field didactics (Theory of teaching process management, learning objectives, forms, principles, methods, resources). 5. Cross-curricular relations within educational areas, educational use of the pedagogical process, cross-curricular subjects of RVP (teaching subjects at elementary school, personality and social education, multicultural, environmental and media education). 6. Technical Museum in Pedagogical Practice (Museopedagogy, Use of Technical Museums in the Czech Republic and the World, Teacher Training Methodology to Increase the Effectiveness of Classical Teaching). 7. Excursion as a progressive teaching form (types, preparation, execution, evaluation, effectiveness, meaning). 8. Specifics of education of pupils with special educational needs (work therapies, the role of workshop teachers and technical activities in special education, pre-vocational training of handicapped pupils). 9. Ecological and environmental education as part of technical and information education (Methodology of the penetration of environmental problems into different branches of technology, use of Internet possibilities for increasing the amount of information, the influence of the teacher and its importance in the field). 10. The role of the teacher in the process of acquiring technical knowledge, skills and habits (features of the teacher's personality, spoken and written speech of the teacher, expressiveness, teacher's relationship with pupils, colleagues, parents and profession, personal and educational growth). 11. Teaching methods and resources in subjects of technical and information technology (Classical and progressive teaching methods and their use in pedagogical practice, specifics of computer technology, specialized laboratories and school workshops). 12. Man and the World of Work - Introductory lessons of practical activities at elementary school (The specifics of working with pupils, organization and work safety in the school workshop, laboratory and in the computer science classroom).
