Course objectives
At the end of the course the student should have a general survey of basic physical methods used in medicine.
Syllabus
  • 1. Classical physical methods in medicine. - blood pressure - methods based on overheating or overcooling of human body - methods based on electrical on magnetical field - ultrasound methods - radiation methods. 2. Contemporary progressive physical methods. - CT, proton source - modern methods in heart treatment - modern methods in cancer treatment - modern materials in tissue replacement - prognosis
