The student owns a digital camera (ideally with manual mode). Otherwise, an agreement with the teacher is required. Due to the limited capacity of students, an exemption request is required for enrollment (applies to all students).

Course objectives
Students will learn the basic principles of digital photography, technology, historical and current trends. By means of a photographic project he will develop her/his own work and at the end he will be able to prepare data for printing.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to: describe the difference between digital and analog photography, apply the principles of digital photography in practice, use the possibilities and principles of light, be able to edit the photo and prepare data for printing, will be able to create his own author's book.

Assessment methods
The course will be completed by credit. Credit requirements: active participation in the lessons, consultations, gallery excursion, workshop, presentation of work assigned in the lessons, presentation of own photographic work in the form of author's book.
More detailed information on the content of the course, way of teaching and specific requirements for completion will be given to students in the introductory lesson.
