Course objectives
The subject uses the activating methods and introduces students to issues of nature as an interesting and stimulating area that allows children to explore and experiment. During the individual exercises, the students will learn about the professional background and the most common misconceptions of selected topics and at the same time with algoheistic methods using various teaching methods and didactic means that will enable children to discover these areas and create their own ideas about the surrounding world.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
- to select appropriate topics for exploring and discovering pre-school children and to suggest activities that are sufficiently clear and safe for children to - critically evaluate the available didactic methodologies and themes, select or develop ideas for their pedagogical practice with regard to the professional Accuracy, adequacy and security.
- Encourage children to actively explore nature and nature in the immediate surroundings, based on experience-based activities, to build a relationship with the environment to children.

  • 1. Method of observation as a way to   discovering the world
  • 2. Nature in winter (adaptation of organisms to the winter period)
  • 3. Invertebrate animals (in fairy tales and in the real world)
  • 4. Turners (in fairy tales and in the real world)
  • 5. Live animal in nursery school
  • 6. Plants safe and dangerous
  • 7. Minerals and rocks - exploring their properties
  • 8. Toys and physical laws
  • 9. Water in all forms
  • 10. Magnetism - Properties and Usage
  • 11. Kitchen as a chemical laboratory
  • 12. Dangerous chemicals in households
