Course objectives
The aim of the course is to deepen students' diagnostic competence in working with children under three years of age, focusing on observation, planning and reflection.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to: understand and explain the play and work of a child up to three years of age and the relationship between children and teacher (caregiver); use the observed information to prepare a program for children under three; to create an idea of ​​individual work with children under three; interpret information obtained from observations of educational work; propose alternatives for activities adapted to children under three;
Syllabus
  • The practise trainig runs two times during semestr in the selected Brno´s nurseries or kindergartens. The schools are chosen according their work with two years old children. The practise activities are stressed to the way of inspection and diagnostic. The first practise is stressed to observing and second practise is stressed to verification of student´s program for child. The analysis and the feedback will be offered to the students on the base of analysis of their reflexion on the last meeting.
