Course objectives
Supporting of the artistic (creative) activities as a part of the Framework Education Programme for Pre-school Education (RVP PV). Achievement objectives for learning art by different means of artistic expression. Supporting art success and fulfillment for the child, child's development in art and assessment of active learning. The subject of the course is focused on the understanding the means of artistic expression and activities, their possibilities and profits in pre-school system.
Learning outcomes
Students should be able to know basic school curriculum and be able to create and realise eligibly a school art project, reflect art activities in pre-school education, define and explain profits of art expression. Compose written reflexion and photo-documentation of art activities in nursery school (develop and enhance theoretical knowledges and art skills acquired during teaching practice).
Syllabus
  • Art education as a part of the personal development. Art education streams in preschool system. Activities focused on art and curriculum. Learning oportunity, aims, objects, motivation, art issues, assignment, means of artistic expression. Art ativities in teaching practice, exemplary art projects. Description and reflexion of the teaching practice, preparation in the form of a lecture with goals, teaching methods, forms and means of artistic expression. Evaluation of child artistic expression.
