Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to develop speaking, reading, writing and listening skills at the upper-intermediate level. The basic study material is coursebook New English File Upper-Intermediate supplemented by various additional materials.The students are expected to work on their language development independently. The language is integrated with the Children´s literature course.
At the end of the course students should be able to: discuss everyday topics, communicate in everyday situations, read and listen to authentic texts at intermediate level and communicate in the language fluently.

Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to develop speaking, reading, writing and listening skills at the upper-intermediate level. The basic study material is coursebook New English File Upper-Intermediate supplemented by various additional materials.The students are expected to work on their language development independently. The language is integrated with the Children´s literature course.
At the end of the course students should be able to: discuss everyday topics, communicate in everyday situations, read and listen to authentic texts at intermediate level and communicate in the language fluently. Throughout the semester students are encouraged to link theory in the classroom to practice at schools via practical tasks.

Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to develop speaking, reading, writing and listening skills at the upper-intermediate level. The basic study material is coursebook New English File Upper-Intermediate supplemented by various additional materials.The students are expected to work on their language development independently. The language is integrated with the Children´s literature course.
At the end of the course students should be able to: discuss everyday topics, communicate in everyday situations, read and listen to authentic texts at intermediate level and communicate in the language fluently. Throughout the semester students are encouraged to link theory in the classroom to practice at schools via practical tasks.
