Course objectives
At the end of the course students will be able to understand the importance of history and its application on the education. Students will create their ideas about the use of local history in the educational process. Students will be able to work with the information on every day life and its transformation to homeland study.
Syllabus
  • Czech lands in: the prehistoric ages, the Middle Ages, the Modern Period, present. The connection to regional history.

Teaching methods
Theoretical preparation. The basic principles of history education with the emphasis on every day life. Seminar presentations – students will prove their ability to orientate themselves in historical processes.
