Course objectives
Student can be able to understand and explain basic theory that is necessary for the work with geographical data, understand principles of the work with the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) – geographic data, software, hardware, use GIS in practice, understand the work with web map servers (interactive maps) and their use in practice, learn basic theory of the remote sensing including the work with space and air images, understand and explain basic theory of the Global Positioning Systems (GPS).
Learning outcomes
