Course objectives
The subject aims at interpretation as the main method of the work with artistic texts. The theoretical comment is completed by practical illustrations of both complex and partial ways of interpreting. The communication substance of interpreting is accentuated.
Syllabus
  • The interpretation of artistic texts in historical and actual connections. Scientific and didactic interpretation (complex, partial). The conception of interpretation and the text structure. Interpretation of various prosaic genres. Interpretation of the poetry (lyrics, epic poetry). Interpretation and critical thinking.
