Course objectives
main goal of the course: practical knowledge of the medieval material culture (from 11th to the first half of the 16th century)
morfology, typology, chronology of the artefacts and the understanding of the main groups of the medieval artefacts (crafts, agriculture, buildings)
production palces (medieval fields, smithery, and many others)
pottery (kitchen ware, table ware), build ceramic (bricks, tiles), glas, metal, bones, wood, textile, leather artefacts
excursion to the Brno Town Museum - Špilberk
