The topics to be discussed in the seminar: - Climatic changes in the Bronze Age and the Hallstatt - Burial rite; reflection of the society in the burial rite - Exceptional and non-ritual handling with mortal remains - Burials – a missing archaeological component? - Elites of urnfields and Hallstatt and their changes - Utilization of caves, the Býčí Skála cave - Upland settlements, fortifications - Lowland settlements - House and its reconstruction - Sunken features at the settlements; their interpretation, post-deposit processes - Pottery kilns and pyrauns - The Bronze Age cult and cultic features - Circular architecture - Extraction of silicite and its interpretation - Extraction of copper, proofs of bronze working - Analyses of bronze material and organic impresses on bronze items - Bronze and pottery hoards, context of their depositing - Measuring systems - Contact directions, imports of amber - Nomadism; Kimmerians, Thracians, Scythians - Etruscans

Requirements for the course-unit credit: - Paper with ca 20-25 minutes time of presentation; in case of an unexcused absence at the date of the paper the students lose eligibility for a course unit credit - Principle points of the paper, ca 2 page, containing literature!! will be pass on Mai 21 - Active participation at the seminar
