Course objectives
The course provides general information on historical events and development of the European continent, especially northern and eastern periphery of the Frankish Empire in the Early Middle Ages. Emphasis is put on excavation and knowledge of site Hadeby.
Learning outcomes
After completion of the course, student will be able to:
- hold a well-founded discussion about fundamental trends in present-day European Early medieval research in Northern Europe
