Course objectives
The archive field trip aims at making the participants familiar with the historical development of a selected region, be it a town, an estate or a whole region. Economic and culture progress of the given place are also commented upon. In addition, students should also closely observe the working experience of the archivists and historians of the region. For the given purpose, visits are paid to the centers of administration – towns, castles, chateaux, monasteries together with specialized workplaces, such as museums and archives.
