Course objectives
The course aims to provide students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the area of the basic work of archivists, with regard to specific, independently solved tasks within the scope of activities of a regional archive.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- identify the types of registration units;
- prepare professional independent searches from archival material;
- create organizational schemata according to a valid methodology or the structure of the relevant registry;
- create proposals for new archival relics of cultural heritage according to a valid methodology.
Syllabus
  • 1. Principles of creating archival searches and putting them into practice.
  • 2. The transfer list and its transformation into an archival aid.
  • 3. Revising and modifying an old inventory with regard to the new processing rules.
  • 4. Practically determining the types of registration units.
  • 5. Designing a proposal for archival relics of cultural heritage.
