Course objectives
At the end of curse students will be able to understand, explain and interpret basic notion of history, politics and culture in Slavonic areas. Students will use information about modern history, politics, culture, language and literature in Slavonic areas.
Syllabus
  • 1. Area of Slavonic-non-Slavonic Central Europe and West Slavs 2. Area of East Europe, East Slavonic tripartition 3. The Balkans and the Slavs 4. The Languages and Literatures of Slavonic areas 5. Central Europe and East and South Slavs/Balkans: the problem of immigration and cultural integration
