Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are the following: achievement of technical and interpretational prerequisites for performance practice of early music.
Learning outcomes
Student is able to apply principes of intepretation practice of cembalo.
Syllabus
  • 1. year: diminuce, scales, early baroque compositions (Virgiliano, Bassano, Geminiani, Merula, Fontana, Castello, Ucellini, stc.)
  • 2. year: sonatas, chamber music, ornamentation, Italian and Deutscho composer´s compositions (Bach, Händel, Telemann, Corelli, Vivaldi, Tartini, a další)
  • 3. year: scordatura, French baroque composer´s compositions and ornamentation, preparing of graduation concert (Biber, Schmelzer, Couperin, Rameau, apod.)
  • Lessons are individula with practical graduation concert.
Literature
  • Literaturu ke studiu zadává lektor v individuálních lekcích.

Individual lessons and workshops.

Final mark depends on whole term outcome.
